There’s something about snow-dusted cabins and downhill adventures that feels like home to me. Living in Montana means winter comes with pine-covered slopes, crisp mountain air, and plenty of cozy moments—and this card trio captures that spirit in paper form!

I created these scenes using the Ski-son’s Greetings Collection by Simon Hurley for Spellbinders, and if they look familiar, it’s because they were featured in the Spellbinders catalog. From skiers and snowboarders to comforting little chalets, each card is a nod to the snowy magic I’ve experienced firsthand.

Ski-son's Greetings Card set:

• Cut & fold (2) A2 card bases.
• Emboss (3) A2 white panels with the Streamline 3D embossing folder.
• Trim (2) embossed panels slightly smaller, then adhere all three to the card fronts as shown.
• Diecut the pieces from Ski Lodge and Hit the Slopes die sets, then assemble.
• Foil the sentiments in polished brass, then diecut.
• Arrange the diecut pieces to each card front as shown, with the exception of the people.
• Splatter each card with opaque white as shown.
• Adhere the ski people to the two card fronts.
• Mount the sentiments to each one with thin foam strips to finish.
