Cozy Inspiration with Altenew: October 2025 Release Blog Hop + PRIZES

This playful shaker card is bursting with color, sparkle, and happy vibes! I used the new Hearts & Paislies 3D embossing folder and coordinating stencils from Altenew’s October release to build a soft, textured background, then framed it up with elements from the Craft Your Life: Illuminated Scenes kit. The sweet sentiment comes from the Build-A-Garden: Serene Blooms set—perfect for sending a little love.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 card base.
  • Cut 6x6 panel from white cardstock.
  • Emboss the panel with the Hearts & Paislies 3D embossing folder.
  • Ink blend the embossed panel with the coordinating stencils in pinks, oranges, greens and turquoise.
  • Trim to A2 sized, then create an edge to edge shaker envelope.
  • Add iridescent sequins and glitter to the envelope, then seal the final side.
  • Adhere the shaker element to the card front.
  • Diecut the frames from brushed gold cardstock.
  • Emboss the largest frame with the coordinating 3D embossing folder.
  • Adhere to the card front with foam adhesive.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment in iridescent gold, then diecut with extra layers, including one ivory glitter layer.
  • Stack & glue together, using the glitter layer as a shadow.
  • Mount to the card front with thin foam tape.

  • Emboss the pale pink panel with the Botanical Rails 3D embossing folder.
  • Trim slightly smaller, then adhere to the card front.
  • Heat emboss the floral stems in gold pearl to white cardstock.
  • Use the coordinating stencils to ink blend in the layers.
  • Stamp the sentiment in black ink.
  • Diecut all the pieces, then arrange to the card front.
  • Mount the sentiment to the front with thin foam strips.
  • Accent with self-adhesive gems in Spectrum AB to finish.

From glittery frames to sweet sentiments, this kit lets you build your dream space one stamp at a time. I couldn’t resist adding a little rainbow flair to my cozy craft room and cozy scenes—because color makes everything feel more like home. 💛

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold (2) A2 card bases.
  • Cut A2 panels from white cardstock.
  • Heat emboss the main images in iridescent gold to the white panels.
  • Ink blend each image in a three color rainbow (pink, yellow & turquoise) with the coordinating stencils.
  • Stamp the sentiment directly to the living room scene in black.
  • Stamp the other two sentiments in black to white cardstock, then diecut.
  • Cut the frame die from brushed gold & ivory glitter cardstock.
  • Use the coordinating 3D embossing folder to turn the large ivory glitter and small brushed gold cuts into dimensional frames.
  • Arrange the frames as shown to each card.
  • Mount the sentiment to the craft room front with thin foam strips.
  • Accent with self-adhesive gems in Aura AB to finish.
