Heart to Heart Inspiration with Simon Says Stamp: Release Blog Hop Day 2 + PRIZES!

I’m excited to be joining the Simon Says Stamp Heart to Heart release blog hop today, and I couldn’t resist leaning into the wintry side of the collection! The new Warm Thoughts sentiment die paired so beautifully with the Dashing Snowflakes 3D embossing folder, and it’s a cozy little combo that practically builds the card for you. If you’re in the mood for soft blues, glittery snowflakes, and all the snuggle‑weather vibes, this project is such a fun one to try!

Joy to the World Card:

  • Cut & fold A2 card base.
  • Cut panel from seafoam cardstock, then emboss with Dashing Snowflakes folder.
  • Ink blend around the edges, then mount to the card base.
  • Diecut the snowflake from glitter paper and white cardstock, then stack & glue together.
  • Diecut the sentiment once from glitter paper and twice from white cardstock.
  • Diecut the shadow layer from vellum, then stack & glue together.
  • Toner foil the secondary sentiment in Turquoise, then trim into a strip.
  • Arrange & adhere as shown to the card front.
  • Accent with Prism dazzling gems to finish.

Ginger McDonald - Your card is absolutely beautiful, it's a perfect winter card. I love the crisp white on the beautiful aqua background. I love how you used the reverse side of the embossing folder, it didn't steal the show as an embossing folder can sometimes do but rather it was a GREAT supporting cast adding to the focus of the snowflake and that wonderful Warm Thoughts sentiment. It is snuggle weather and your card is like a warm hug on a cold day.
