Hello, crafty friends! There’s something extra special about creating a Mother’s Day card that feels soft, breezy, and full of heart, and this year, I’m leaning all the way into that Light & Airy look I love so much. If you’ve been wanting florals that feel professional without adding hours to your crafting time, you’re going to adore today’s project.
I’m working with the innovative One Go: Friendship Flowers suite, and it truly is a game changer. One pass to stamp, stencil, and die cut an entire set of florals? Yes please. But the real magic comes from my favorite trick for getting crisp, beautifully defined blooms: the Double Stamping Technique.
By starting with a soft gray impression and saving that bold black layer for after the ink blending, your florals get the perfect amount of contrast — clean, polished, and never muddy. And if the idea of double stamping makes you nervous, don’t worry. The Stampwheel takes all the guesswork out of alignment, making this technique totally beginner‑friendly.
Let’s jump in and create something beautiful for the moms in your life!
While I’m technically allowed to upload these videos to my own YouTube channel, it feels a little silly to have the same video living in two places. So while I’m sharing the video from the Altenew channel, I would truly appreciate it if you shop through my links when you’re adding any of these products to your craft room. I earn a small commission at no cost to you, and your support means so much to me!
