🌊 Make Waves with Pink & Main’s June Release
Jun 20, 2025 | By: Lea Lawson
There’s nothing like a splash of tropical charm to kick off the summer crafting season, and Pink & Main’s brand new June release delivers just that! I had the best time creating with these products—it’s actually my first time working with Pink & Main goodies, and I’m so excited to share the ocean-themed cards I made.
Today, I’m sharing two ocean-themed cards that celebrate sunshine, sea life, and all things coastal—featuring adorable sea turtles, playful fish, and even a pair of fabulous flamingos.
To make it even more fun, there’s an Instagram Hop happening today, packed with crafty inspiration and prizes up for grabs—you won’t want to miss it!
Hop on over to my post on Instagram to start exploring all the amazing projects in today’s lineup. And don’t forget to leave comments along the hop for a chance to win!
Let’s take a closer look at these summer-fresh designs and the delightful new products that brought them to life.
Ocean Themed card set
Card size:Â A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)
FEATURED PRODUCTSÂ - if you love my card & would like to purchase any of the products I've used, I would love for you to shop from my links! I earn a small commission at no cost to you, allowing me to contribute to our finances. I appreciate this gesture more than words can express!
Here are simple instructions on how to create today's cards:
I’ll share step-by-step instructions for each card, but first, a quick note about the foiled panels. I don’t have a laminator for toner cards, so instead, I use my Glimmer Hot Foil System along with a Solid Hot Foil Plate. If you’re using this method, it’s very important to use toner-activated foil—not hot foil—as hot foil won’t work in this case.
If you do have a laminator, feel free to foil your panels as usual!
Hello Sunshine card:
- Cut and fold (1) A2 card base from white cardstock.
Trim a row of sentiments from an Oceans of Love toner card, then foil it in gold using the info shared above. - Emboss an A2 white cardstock panel with the Beach Waves embossing folder, then ink blend an aqua ombre gradient to it.
- Trim slightly smaller than A2, and mount to the card base with foam tape.
- Diecut the flamingo pieces, then assemble.
- Diecut the sun, clouds and a wavy sand layer. Ink blend a gradient to the sun.
- Arrange all off the diecut pieces to the front of the card as shown.
- Diecut the sentiment with a strip die, then mount to the front with thin foam strips.
- Accent with self-adhesive Aura AB gems to finish.
Sending Oceans of Love card:
- Cut and fold (1) A2 card base from navy blArrageue cardstock.
- Foil a Gentle Waves toner panel in Watercolor Blue using the method mentioned above.
- Foil the Oceans of Love critters in Glass Slipper, then diecut.
- Create an edge to edge shaker element with the Gentle Waves panel by adhering malleable plastic wrap around the edges to create a pocket.
- Add your shaker mix to the open edge, then finish sealing it.
- Arrange the foiled sea critters as shown, then trim away any excess.
- Mount the shaker panel to the card front with foam tape.
- Diecut a heart from vellum, then trim another gold foiled sentiment from card 1 into a thin strip.
- Mount them to the card front as shown, then accent with two mermaid jewels to finish.
Just a quick note—the shaker mix I used was a gift from a crafty friend quite a while ago, and it's no longer available. But no worries! You can easily swap it out with something you already have in your stash to get a similar look.
Also, don't miss out on Pink & Main’s adorable June Mouse freebie! The stamp set is yours with orders of $50+, and you'll receive the coordinating die when your order hits $75+.
I hope today's ocean-themed cards splashed a little inspiration your way!
