Pretty Pink Posh May Release Instagram Post

The Pretty Pink Posh May 2026 release is LIVE and I'm joining the release Instagram Hop! I’m sharing the sweetest little bee shaker card for today's Instagram inspiration post, featuring the Layered Bees stencil set and the Thinking of You Shadow die set!

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 card base, then cover with pale blue cardstock.
  • Ink blend the stencils to a 6x6 white cardstock panel in the following colors:

Stencil A: Sunray, Black
Stencil B: Black
Stencil C: Powder

  • Gently wipe down stencil C, then apply iridescent glitter paste over top of the powder blue ink blending.
  • Gently remove the stencil, and set the panel aside to dry.
  • Diecut the largest Pinking Rectangle from ivory glitter cardstock and acetate.
  • Cut out the middle using the smallest Scallop Frame.
  • Ink blend the frame with Sunray ink to give it a more golden tone.
  • Glue the frame to the acetate piece to create a shaker window.
  • Trim the ink blended bees background to 4" x 5.25, then mount to the card front.
  • Add a layer of glitter to the middle, then add Busy Bee clay confetti mix over top.
  • Securely adhere the shaker window to the card front, check to make sure you get a good seal.
  • Diecut the Thinking of You words once from pearl gold and twice from white cardstock.
  • Diecut the shadow layers from vellum.
  • Stack & glue the word layers together, then adhere to the card front.
  • Fussy cut the leftover ink blended bees, and arrange three of them to the front as shown.
  • Accent with Midnight Black jewels to finish.

Pretty Pink Posh May Release Video Hop

I'm also part of the Video Inspiration Hop for the  Pretty Pink Posh May 2026 release! I've created this adorable bee themed shaker card with some of the new goodies.

There are $300 in prizes up for grabs! We'll be giving away a $20 gift certificate on each stop. People who leave comments will qualify for the giveaway before May 20, 2026. We'll randomly pick winners and announce them on the PPP video hop post.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 card base, then cover with dark honey cardstock.
  • Ink blend the Honeycomb stencil set to a white cardstock panel in Honeycomb ink.
  • Diecut (5) of the smallest Eyelet Hexagon from ivory glitter cardstock.
  • Ink blend the hexes with Honeycomb ink to make them more golden.
  • Mount the hexagons to the ink blended background with foam tape as shown, trimming away excess.
  • Diecut the Bee Shaker peices, then assemble.
  • Fill the shaker element with shaker beads and glitter, then seal shut.
  • Using the bee shaker to help placement, stamp the flight path directly to the background.
  • Adhere the entire background panel to the card front.
  • Stamp the sentiment in black to white cardstock, then diecut with two extra white layers, and one gold glitter layer.
  • Stack & glue together, using the glitter layer as a shadow.
  • Mount the sentiment to the card front with foam tape to finish.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 card base.
  • Diecut the Checkered Pierced Plate from white cardstock.
  • Ink around the edges with Aqua Sky ink, then adhere to the card base.
  • Diecut the Beehive die pieces, then assemble as shown.
  • Heat emboss the honeycomb elements in Gilded Sparkle to white cardstock, then diecut.
  • Ink blend with Honeycomb ink, then arrange to the card front as shown, trimming away any excess.
  • Stamp the bee themed images in black ink to smooth white mixed media cardstock.
  • Color with glitter markers, and a black watercolor marker.
  • Diecut the colored images, then arrange to the front as shown.
  • Heat emboss the other sentiment in white to honey colored cardstock, then diecut.
  • Mount to the upper left corner with thin foam strips.
  • Accent with Aura AB jewels to finish.
