Happy Saturday, crafty friends! I’m sharing this lilypad card featuring Altenew’s June release, and I love how it has such a dreamy, painterly feel to it!

Today I'm featuring the Lilypad Dreams 3D embossing folder & stencils, along with the Pond Lilies die set and One Go: Solid Sentiment Banners stamp & die. I've added a frame from one of my past faves, the Illuminated Scenes Craft Your Life Project Kit. I reach for this set SO often when I need a beautiful frame!

Easy Step by Step instructions:

Cut & fold A2 white card base, then cover with Blush cardstock.
Emboss a white cardstock panel with the Lilypad Dreams 3D embossing folder.
Ink blend the embossed image using the coordinating layering stencils in the following colors:

Stencil 1: Aloe Vera, Matcha Tea, Dusty Pink
Stencil 2: Swamp Green, Oak Moss, Sand Dunes
Stencil 3: Teal Tempest, Mystic Lake, Pool, Blush Rose, Chamomile

Trim to a 3.75" x5" landscape panel, then mount to the card front with foam tape.
Diecut the Pond Lilies die set from white cardstock and ivory glitter cardstock (middles only).
Ink blend each floral layer in a gradient of Blushberry inks.
Ink blend the lily pads in a gradient of Aqua Island inks.
Ink blend the glitter middles with Chamomile ink.
Assemble and glue together the floral layers.
Diecut then 3D emboss the frame from ivory glitter cardstock with the Illuminated Scenes craft kit.
Mount the frame to the card front with foam tape.
Glue the lily pads to opposite corners of the frame.
Heat emboss the sentiments in Antique Gold, then diecut with the 1-piece die.
Mount the sentiment to the bottom of the frame with foam tape.
Adhere the flowers to the lily pads as shown.
Accent with Iridescent Crystals to finish.

TIP: Typically I prefer to ink blend first, and then do the 3D embossing. However, because each stencil has multiple layers to align on this set, I found it easier to emboss first and then ink blend.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

Cut & fold A2 white card base, then cover with Dew Drops cardstock.
Diecut the Ocean Windows die set from shades of teal cardstock and glitter cardstock.
Adhere the A2 panels together and the glitter layers together with liquid glue.
Adhere clear acetate to the back of the A2 panel to create a shaker window.
Adhere the glitter pieces to the middle of the card front.
Add the shaker mix to the middle of the card front, then adhere the shaker window over top with foam tape.
Heat emboss the sentiment set in antique gold, then diecut with the 1-piece die.
Mount the sentiment banner to the card front with foam tape.
Diecut the clownfish layers, then assemble.
Adhere them to the card front as shown.
Accent with Iridescent Crystals to finish.

(I'm a tad obsessed!) I also featured one stencils from the Undersea Jamboree layering set, offering up a reminder that you don't always have to use every single stencil together. I just wanted the bubbles! 🫧

Easy Step by Step instructions:

Cut & fold A2 white card base.
Diecut the Ocean Windows die set from shades of teal cardstock and glitter cardstock.
Stamp the inner diecut piece with the greenery from the Graceful Seahorse stamp set in Pool ink.
Layer stencil 3 from Undersea Jamboree to the top, then apply Iridescent Glitter relief paste to the openings.
Once dry, adhere the Ocean windows elements to the card front, popping up the top glitter paper with foam tape.
Diecut the seahorse pieces and ocean greenery from white and glitter cardstock, then assemble the seahorse.
Arrange the diecut pieces to the card front as shown.
Heat emboss the sentiment set in antique gold, then diecut with the Nesting Arches die set.
Diecut the next size up arch from teal cardstock, then adhere together with foam tape.
Mount the sentiment to the card front with foam tape & liquid glue.
Accent with Clear Iridescent sequins to finish.
