And Something Nice Inspiration with Simon Says Stamp: Release Blog Hop Day 1 + PRIZES!

Happy Friday, crafty friends! I’m thrilled to be part of Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp And Something Nice Release Blog Hop, and today’s cards are bringing a Merry & Bright shimmery vibe. I featured the new Holly Jolly stamp set, Merry cover die & stamp, plus the Magical Mistletoe die.

Holly Jolly Card:

  • Cut & fold A2 card base, then cover with teal cardstock.
  • Stamp & heat emboss the sentiment to white cardstock, then adhere to the card front.
  • Diecut the frames from ivory glitter & gold pearl cardstock, then adhere.
  • Diecut the mistletoe layers twice, then ink blend in turquoises and reds.
  • Assemble both mistletoe sprigs, then splatter with opaque white.
  • Arrange them to the top and bottom of the card as shown.

Merry and Bright Card:

  • Cut & fold A2 card base.
  • Diecut the Merry cover die once from gold pearl, and twice from white cardstock.
  • Stack & glue the layers together.
  • Create an edge to edge shaker envelope from an A2 white panel.
  • Fill with sequins and glitter, then seal and adhere to the card front.
  • Mount the Merry cover to the front.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment to white cardstock in gold pearl sparkle.
  • Trim the sentiment, then mount to the lower right corner of the card.
