Spooky-Cute Cardmaking with Pretty Pink Posh’s Halloween Release

Halloween Release Instagram Hop

🕷️🎃 Halloween just got a whole lot cuter! These charming cards feature the new Spider Shaker, Cat Holder, and Halloween Holder Additions die sets from Pretty Pink Posh—packed with glitter, witchy hats, and spooky-sweet vibes. Who says Halloween can’t be adorable?

Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)

Here are simple instructions on how to create today's cards:

  • Cut and fold A2 card bases.
  • Ink blend the stencil backgrounds with ocean breeze and hydrangea ink.
  • Splatter both backgrounds with iridescent gold acrylic ink.
  • Diecut the Spider Shaker, Cat Holder & Halloween Holder Additions, then assemble as shown.
  • Heat emboss the sentiments in iridescent gold, then diecut.
  • Add simple coloring to the Hocus Pocus sentiment.
  • Adhere everything to the card front as shown.
  • Accent with sparkling clear jewels to finish.

Halloween Release Live #2

Who knew Halloween and Valentine’s Day could be such a perfect match? 😂 The consensus during Wednesday’s live was that many Halloween products totally work for Valentine’s Day—and vice versa!

I had so much fun creating this adorable love potion card using the new Potion Bottles Shaker die set from Pretty Pink Posh Halloween release. We gave it a sweet twist with the XOXO clay confetti mix—and the result was pure magic!

You Have My Heart card:

  • Cut and fold A2 card base.
  • Ink blend the Layered Hearts stencils to white cardstock in cherry blossom and passionfruit inks.
  • Diecut the love script sentiment set once from gold pearl and twice from white cardstock, then stack & glue together.
  • Diecut the scallop edge from a strip of ivory glitter cardstock.
  • Diecut the potion bottle pieces, then assemble as shown.
  • Stamp the sentiment in black ink, then diecut with a banner die.
  • Adhere everything to the card front as shown.
  • Accent with sparkling clear jewels to finish.

My first Halloween release live was a total treat! I had so much fun creating Halloween cards featuring the adorable new release from Pretty Pink Posh. From glittery pumpkins to the sweetest little spiders, this collection is full of festive charm and spooky-cute details that make crafting a joy.

Here are simple instructions on how to create today's card:

Happy Halloween card:

  • Cut and fold A2 card base from white cardstock.
  • Diecut the Fringe Pumpkin pieces, then assemble.
  • Diecut the Happy Halloween Shadow sentiment set once from gold pearl, and twice from white cardstock.
  • Diecut the shadow layers from vellum, then stack & glue together.
  • Adhere the spooky patterned paper to a card base.
  • Mount the diecut elements to the front.
  • Accent with sparkling clear jewels to finish.

No Tricks, Just Treats card:

  • Cut and fold A2 card base from white cardstock.
  • Diecut the Spider Web coverplate die from pink cardstock.
  • Ink blend the edges of the card front with light pink & light orange.
  • Create a shaker window from the spider web die.
  • Pour shaker beads & glitter into the frame, then adhere the card base to the back.
  • Stamp the spiders & sentiment in black ink, then diecut.
  • Diecut the scalloped strip from ivory glitter cardstock.
  • Adhere the spiders & sentiments to the front to finish.

Halloween Release Video Hop

I created a sweet and spooky card featuring the Halloween Cake Pops stencils, dies, and Halloween Greetings sentiment set—and there’s a black cat, pumpkin, and ghost trio that’s just too cute to spook!

  • Ink blend an A2 white cardstock panel with the Halloween Cake Pops stencils 1 & 2.
  • Treat the panel with anti-static powder, then daub embossing ink carefully over stencil 3.
  • Cover in clear hologram sparkle embossing powder, then heat set.
  • Diecut the pieces from the Halloween Cake Pops die set, then assemble.
  • Diecut the scallop frame from ivory glitter cardstock.
  • Stamp the sentiment in black to white cardstock, then diecut.
  • Adhere the background panel to the card front, then mount the frame & cake pops to the front.
  • Add the sentiment as shown to finish.
