Hey there, crafty friends! It’s time to dive into the August Clubs from Spellbinders—and I’ve got 11 cards to share, featuring elements from every monthly kit! From shimmering underwater scenes to playful textures and bold designs, this month’s kits are packed with inspiration.

As always, I’ve done my best to incorporate every single element across the clubs—but with so many sentiments included, I occasionally miss one or two. Still, each card is a reflection of the joy and versatility these kits offer, and I hope they spark ideas for your own crafting adventures!

This duo is making waves with the Small & Large Die Kits of the Month, plus a splash of texture from the Embossing Folder of the Month! From deep-sea divers to a sweet little mermaid, these cards are full of underwater charm and vibrant details. Whether you're celebrating a big moment or just sending a little encouragement, these ocean-inspired designs are sure to brighten someone’s day.

Kits Featured:

Easy Step by Step instructions:

Cut & fold (2) A2 card bases.
Cut A2 card panels from white cardstock.

We Are In This Together Card:

Emboss a white panel with the embossing folder.
Ink blend an aqua gradient from light to dark.
Mount to the front of a card base.
Diecut all the pieces from the small die set, then assemble.
Stamp the main sentiment in black, then diecut.
Diecut another banner from antique white glitter paper, then adhere together.
Mount the diecut pieces to the card front, then add the sentiments with thin foam strips.
Accent with self-adhesive gems in Opal to finish.

Make A Splash Card:

Emboss a white panel with the embossing folder.
Ink blend with torquoise & light purple.
Mount to the front of a card base.
Diecut all the elements from the large die of the month set, and assemble.
Heat emboss the sentiment in gold, then diecut.
Mount the diecut pieces to the card front, then add the sentiment with thin foam strips.
Accent with self-adhesive gems in Opal to finish.

These two cards are sailing in with sweet nautical vibes! One features the Stitching Die of the Month, with a cheerful paper boat riding stitched waves—perfect for sending a little love across the miles. The other showcases the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month, where tiny boats float inside stamped bottles, ready to deliver heartfelt messages. Whether it’s encouragement, friendship, or just-because joy, these designs are sure to make someone’s day a little brighter.

Cut & fold (2) A2 card bases.

Hand Folded Hugs Card:

Diecut all the pieces from the stitching die set, then stitch as shown.
Assemble the pieces as shown.
Mount the diecut pieces to the card front, then add the sentiment with thin foam strips.
Accent with self-adhesive gems in Aura AB to finish.

Sending Joy on Paper Sails Card:

Heat emboss the main image in white to 3 blocks of colored cardstock.
Diecut the middle image with it's coordinating die.
Adhere to the card front as shown, then add a strip of glitter paper to the right side.
Stamp the sentiment in black, then diecut.
Adhere the sentiments with thin foam strips.
Accent with self-adhesive gems in Aura AB to finish.

These cards are fintastic fun! The Large Die of the Month—featuring a sweet mermaid and a goldfish with serious personality—is swimming in a tie for my favorite kit this month, right alongside the Glimmer of the Month, which adds those bubbly little background details. The goldfish card also dives deep with the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, adding extra texture to the underwater scene. Whether you're “popping by” or wishing someone a “swimmingly” good day, these cards are shore to bring a smile!

Popping By to Say Hi Card:

Hot foil the glimmer plate in speckled prism to mint cardstock.
Trim to 4" x 5.25", then mount to the card front.
Foil the sentiment in Moondust foil to white cardstock, then diecut.
Diecut the large die pieces from cardstock, then assemble.
Diecut a ring from antique white glitter cardstock.
Adhere the diecut pieces to the front as shown, then mount the sentiment with thin foam strips.

May Your Day Go Swimmingly Card:

Emboss a white panel with the 3D embossing folder.
Ink blend with turquoise ink as shown, then add sparkle splatter effects.
Mount to the card front.
Mount both pieces offset to the card front.
Diecut the large die pieces from cardstock, then assemble.
Stamp the sentiment in black, then diecut.
Adhere the diecut pieces & sentiment sentiment to the front as shown.

These top-of-the-tank cards feature the adorable freebie die set found only in the Whole Caboodle—paired with the Large Die and Glimmer of the Month kits for extra splash and sparkle! From a pair of fishy friends floating in their little bag to a mermaid ready to “make a splash,” these designs are swimming with charm. The glimmer bubbles add just the right touch of shimmer to bring these underwater scenes to life. It’s a reel treat to play with all these elements together!

Make A Splash card:

Hot foil the glimmer plate in pastel mint to white cardstock.
Trim to 4" x 5.25", then mount to the card front.
Diecut pieces from the large die set, then assemble.
Adhere the diecut pieces to the front as shown.
Accent with self-adhesive gems in Aquamarine AB to finish.

Together is a Good Place to Be card:

Foil the leftover foil with a solid hot foil plate to white cardstock.
Adhere to the card front.
Diecut pieces from the deluxe caboodle freebie and large die set, then assemble.
Foil the BetterPress sentiment in satin gold, then diecut.
Adhere the diecut pieces & sentiment to the front as shown.
Accent with self-adhesive gems in Gold to finish.

These cards dive deep into creative detail using this month’s Stencil and Wax Seal kits! The left design brings coral reef vibes to life with layered stenciling in dreamy pinks and ocean blues—perfectly paired with a shimmering sentiment. On the right, a subtle glimmer background sets the stage for a charming wax seal, adding texture and elegance to the playful “splash of happy” message. Together, they showcase how this month’s kits blend whimsy and refinement in every wave.

Cut & fold (2) A2 card base.
Diecut (2) A2 panels of white cardstock.

Hope Your Day Shimmers card:

Ink blend the layering stencils in shades of pink & aqua, plus glitter paste.
Trim to 4" x 5.25", then mount to the card front.
Foil the sentiment in Moondust, then diecut.
Mount the sentiment to the front as shown.
Accent with self-adhesive gems in Pink & Aquamarine AB to finish.

Sending a Splash of Happy card:

Foil an A2 card panel with the glimmer plate in opal foil.
Diecut an arch from the left side, then mount to the card front.
Diecut an arch tag from mint cardstock, then wrap gold thread around the bottom.
Mount within the arch window to the card base, then add a twine bow.
Heat emboss the sentiment in iridescent gold, then diecut.
Mount to the front as shown.
Melt light pink wax, pour in an oval shape and press the seal into it.
Let set, then gently remove from the seal and adhere to the card front.
Touch the splash elements with a gold paint pen.
Accent with self-adhesive Spectrum gems to finish.

This fin-tastic card features the BetterPress of the Month, making a splash with crisp impressions and sea-riously sweet style! With a school of colorful fish and a sentiment that’s all about group hugs, it’s the perfect way to send a little note from your whole crew.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

Cut & fold an A2 card base.
Press the school of fish into porcelain cotton paper in a gradient pink, blue and aqua.
Press the sentiment directly below in black.
Accent with Aura AB sequins to finish.

The August kits from Spellbinders were such a joy to create with—from playful fish and glimmering bubbles to stenciled reef scenes and wax seal charm. Each card felt like a little celebration of summer and all the fun details these club kits bring. I loved mixing and matching across the sets to see how everything came together, and I hope they inspire you to dive into your own crafty adventures!
