Who says Christmas can’t come with a side of sass and sparkle? The October “Merry Era” kits from Hero Studio are serving up disco balls, cheeky sentiments, and all the festive fun I didn’t know I needed.
If you’ve been eyeing this release, now’s the moment—subscriptions close tomorrow! Whether you’re a Swiftie, a sparkle lover, or just looking to add a little extra joy to your holiday stash, these kits are a festive dream. Scroll on to see each card up close, and let me know which one makes you want to cue up the holiday playlist and dance your way through December! 💃🎄
Curious how the Hero Studio kits work each month? Here's a quick rundown:
It’s an easy, flexible system—and such a fun way to keep fresh creativity arriving at your door. 🚗💌
Let’s kick things off with a little disco sparkle! These two cards were made with the October Card Kit from Hero Studio, and it’s one of my favorites this season. For just $60, you get over $120 worth of crafty goodness—and it’s not just stamps and dies. Each kit typically includes a coordinating standalone die set, a pack of colored cardstock, and something extra fun and useful like embossing powder, embellishments, or tools that make your holiday crafting even more magical.
I love how these designs lean into the playful side of Christmas—disco balls, cheeky sentiments, and bold color make for a merry mix that feels fresh and festive. If you’re thinking about subscribing, now’s the time—the window closes tomorrow, and this kit is too good to miss!

Next up in this merry lineup: a pair of cards featuring the Layering Stencils and Die Set from the October Hero Studio release. The stencils make it easy to build up bold color and detail, though a bit of masking is needed if you want to separate colors—just like I’ve done here. I love how these designs feel playful and modern, with just the right touch of holiday sparkle!
The second card in this duo showcases the October Die Set, along with the FREE GIFT exclusive to The Whole Studio (the sentiment die)—and it’s a total standout. The Christmas lights come with multiple string options, and the die set includes several bulb dies that cut multiple lights at once. No need to cut each bulb individually (thank goodness!)—Hero has made it quick and efficient to create colorful strands without the fuss. I’m all for anything that saves time and still delivers maximum festive impact!

Now let’s shift into Very Merry mode! These next two cards feature the Merry and Fa La La BetterPress sets from the Hero Arts Very Merry collection. Each set includes a registration guide, which makes it super easy to press the designs in multiple colors—no guesswork, no stress, just crisp, colorful impressions that feel polished and playful.
I love how these sets combine perfectly with the Modern Holiday Sentiments stamp & cut set. Whether you’re going bold with reds and teals or keeping things soft and snowy, the BetterPress system makes it easy to get beautiful results with just a few passes. And let’s be honest—there’s something extra satisfying about seeing those clean impressions come to life!

Up next in the Very Merry lineup: this snowy little duo featuring the Star stencils and coordinating dies from the collection. These were so fun to put together—the layered starburst design adds instant energy, and the snowflakes bring in that classic winter charm. I used the Modern Holiday Sentiments stamp & cut set again here (can’t stop, won’t stop), and finished off the backgrounds with a splatter of white for a soft, snowy effect.
The coordinating dies make it easy to add dimension without fuss, and the stencils are perfect for building up color in a way that feels both bold and delicate. I love how these cards turned out—festive, modern, and just a little bit magical.
