Happy Wednesday, crafty friends! I wanted to pop in and share the card I created last Friday night during my first Virtual Craft Night! It was a super fun evening with crafty friends, and I am looking forward to continue these each month. I think it was great for my first one, but I definitely have ideas to make them more connective and fun! I hope you will join me for the next one. I will start sharing the details for the May craft night soon. Just be on the lookout!
Take Care card
Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)
I started by doing all the foiling with my Glimmer hot foil system. I started with the Nested Stars in matte gold, then the Simplest Gestures in Moondust. I grabbed my solid hot foil plate and proceeded to reverse foil the leftover pieces as well. Next I ink blended in the standard Simplest Gesture foiled image with the coordinating layering stencils in the following ink colors: Tidal Pond, Peach Fuzz, Apricot and Clementine. I ink blended the sentiment to a block of scrap white cardstock in Apricot.
I used just one die to out the middle of the foiled star panel, creating a window. Then I cut out the Simplest Gestures floral clusters and sentiment using the coordinating die set. Finally, I used the Floral Tiles coverplate to add a textured design to a scrap of champagne glitter cardstock. With all the pieces complete, I assembled the card as shown. To finish I accented with trios of our Jewels Mix in Ocean Breeze, Peach Fuzz and Glacier jewels colors.
There will also be more images of this card on my Instagram post, as I have an image limit on my website...and I'm trying to stretch it as far as I can before I have to purchase additional storage. Lol! Thanks for heading to my feed to see more, and allowing me to be a tad frugal. You can also check out my complete supply list below to multiple stores, or CLICK HERE to see it a bit easier. :)
