Happy Friday, crafty friends! Just popping in with another card to share from the Pinkfresh Studio March release. You all know I LOVE florals, but sometimes it's nice to deviate from that. And what better way to deviate than with FRUIT?! The Fruitalicious washi tape from Pinkfresh Studio is SO gorgeous. I love that it's still classy & modern, and not cutesy. It's so perfectly Pinkfresh, which makes it so perfectly me. Lol!
So Sweet of You card
Card size: Slimline - 4" x 9" (inches)
FEATURED PRODUCTS - complete supply list, linked to multiple sources.
Here are the instructions on how to create this card:
- Create a 4x9 slimline card base from red cardstock.
- Pull out a panel of Fruitalicious washi tape and adhere to white cardstock.
- Diecut the washi tape panel with the coordinating 1-piece die.
- Diecut a white cardstock panel using the Slim Braided Circle die, then cut again with the largest Slim Stitched Rectangle.
- Diecut another panel with the largest Slim Stitched Rectangle.
- Use the circle panel as a guide to place your sentiment, then stamp to the background panel in detail black ink.
- Adhere the panels to the red card base, popping the circle panel up with foam tape.
- Decorate the circles with the washi tape clusters as shown.
- Accent with Pixie Dust ombre glitter drops to finish.
TIP: I use (3) Sizzix Big Spot extended plates and a 100 LB paper shim to create an extended plate sandwich for my Gemini Jr. These products are just slightly too large for the original Gemini Jr. sandwich, so this is a great option! I've had ZERO issues running this sandwich through my machine, but keep in mind that they are not Crafter's Companion approved products. If you machine is still under warranty, you might not want to proceed until after it has expired.
Before I close up, I wanted to mention that my Crafty Sale page is updated, and I'm also currently work on my FAVORITES page!
