Valentine Inspiration with Spellbinders Candy Christmas collection

Do you ever look at your Christmas products and immediately think… Valentine’s Day? Just me? Lol! The moment I saw the Stamperia "Candy Christmas" collection from Spellbinders, my brain went straight to hearts and sweetness. These images are already so darling, it felt natural to give them a little love‑themed twist. Want to hear the best news? These products are 50% off right now! ;)

Always one to stretch my supplies, today I’m sharing three adorable Valentine’s cards made (almost) entirely from Christmas sets. Since I don’t have many Valentine’s sentiments from Spellbinders, I mixed in a few cute ones from Pretty Pink Posh, and they paired together perfectly.

Easy step-by-step instructions:

  • Cut & fold (3) white A2 card bases.
  • Emboss (3) pale pink cardstock panels with each embossing folder, then mount to each card front.
  • Diecut (2) frosting borders pieces from white & pink glitter cardstock, then glue together.
  • Diecut the cloud sets three times from white glitter cardstock.
  • Diecut mulitple hearts from pink, magenta and red glitter cardstock.
  • Diecut the love you word once from ivory glitter and twice from white cardstock, then stack & glue together.
  • Diecut the pieces from Gingerbread Delivery and assemble.
  • Diecut the pieces from Gingerbread House and assemble.
  • Diecut the pieces from Gingerbread Plane & Banners and assemble.
  • Heat emboss two of the sentiments in Gilded Sparkle, and one in white to red cardstock.
  • Diecut the sentiments with banners.
  • Arrange and adhere the elements to each card front as shown.
  • Accent with self-adhesive Aura AB jewels to finish.
