November "One More Chapter" Hero Studio Inspiration

Nov 18, 2025 | By: Lea Lawson

Calling all book lovers… 📚✨ The November One More Chapter studios from Hero Arts are here to whisk you away into cozy chapters filled with enchanting details, whimsical motifs, and all the storybook charm your craft table could ask for. Think magical moments, literary-inspired designs, and projects that feel like curling up with your favorite novel.

Subscriptions are open until November 27th, so don’t miss your chance to snag this month’s kits! And here’s a little fun fact about me: I’ve read over 50 books this year already, which makes this release feel extra special. Whether you’re a reader at heart, a fan of charming details, or just looking to add a little extra magic to your creative stash, these kits are a dream come true. 🍂📖

Curious how the Hero Studio kits work each month? Here's a quick rundown:

  • If you're already subscribed, you've got until the 3rd of the month to make any changes to your kit selections—after that, you'll be charged and locked in for the month.
  • New to the kits (or just want to add another to your lineup)? You can subscribe from the 1st through the 27th, or until the kits sell out—whichever comes first!
  • And if you’re someone who wants all the things, the Whole Studio subscription includes every monthly kit at 40% off, plus a little freebie as a treat.

It’s an easy, flexible system—and such a fun way to keep fresh creativity arriving at your door. 🚗💌

Card Kit of the Month card set

Let’s kick things off with sparkling stacks of books! These two cards were made with the November Card Kit from Hero Studio, and I can't get over how PERFECT they are for all the bookworms in your life. For just $60, you get over $120 worth of crafty goodness - and it’s not just stamps and dies. Each kit typically includes a coordinating standalone die set, a pack of colored cardstock, and something extra fun and useful like embossing powder, embellishments, or tools. This month we got Hero Wax in gold, which made creating my backgrounds a cinch!

I pulled out the Scattered Stars stencils from the August Hocus Pocus collection, and they turned out to be the perfect whimsical backdrop for three of my Studio cards this month. ✨ I love how subscription items breathe new life into the fun basics already in my stash, freshening them up in the most creative ways!

Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)

Easy Step by Step instructions:

"You Are...." card

  • Cut & fold A2 card base, then cover with pink cardstock..
  • Cut 4" x 5.25" panel from white cardstock, then cover with one star stencil from Scattered Stars stencil set. (Not included in the kit - from the Hocus Pocus collection.)
  • Apply gold Hero Wax over top of the stencil, then carefully remove.
  • Once set, mount to the card front with foam tape.
  • Diecut all the elements from the To Be Read Pile set, then assemble.
  • Stamp the sentiments to each book in a matching shade of ink.
  • Arrange the diecut elements to the front as shown to finish.

"Thank You" card

  • Cut & fold A2 card base, then cover with yellow cardstock.
  • Cut 4" x 5.25" panel from white cardstock, then cover with one star stencil from Scattered Stars stencil set. (Not included in the kit - from the Hocus Pocus collection.)
  • Apply gold Hero Wax over top of the stencil, then carefully remove.
  • Once set, adhere to the card front.
  • Diecut all the elements from the Happy Place set, then assemble.
  • Diecut the elements from the To Be Read Pile set, then assemble.
  • Heat emboss the sentiments to the book pile in iridescent gold.
  • Arrange the elements to the front as shown to finish.

Die and Layering Stencil Kits of the Month cards

Next up in this bookish lineup: a pair of cards featuring the Layering Stencils and Die Set from the November Hero Studio release. The stencils were easy to mask, creating neat rows of beautifully colored books. For the finishing touch, I heat embossed the final stencil layer with an enchanted gold powder (sadly discontinued—SORRY!) to give the design that perfect first‑edition charm. ✨

I used Concord & 9th inks with the layering stencils in the following colors: Pink Lemonade, Watermelon, Honeysuckle, Grapefruit, Sorbet, Pimento, Aqua Sky, Oceanside and Lakefront. They blend like "butta"!

The second card in this duo highlights the November Die Set, featuring the cutest little book bag! 🎒 It’s such a versatile design - you can mix and match it with other die sets, and it doesn’t always have to carry books. Think of it as a fun accessory ready for whatever creative twist you imagine!

Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)

"I'll Be Reading" card

  • Apply emboss over top of the stencil 4, then carefully remove.
  • Sprinkle enchanted gold embossing powder over top of the ink, then heat set.
  • Trim panel slightly smaller, then mount to the card front with foam tape.
  • Stamp the first part of the sentiment in black to white cardstock.
  • Heat emboss the second part of the sentiment in white to pink cardstock.
  • Diecut both sentiments with the coordinating die.
  • Mount the sentiments to the card front with thin foam strips to finish.

"Hello" card

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base, then cover with light aqua panel.

Kim Glasgow - Awesome cards. I love to read (it's my next favorite past time next to crafting)! You will love the Concord & 9th inks! I just invested in the full set of full-sized inkpads. I have all the PFS ink cubes and love them as well, but I find myself reaching towards the C&9 pads more and more! I am an equal opportunity inkpad owner!!!!
