Altenew 12th Anniversary Blog Hop + $2,400 in PRIZES!

Happy Thursday, crafty friends! I'm so happy to be joining my friends at Altenew for their 12th Anniversary Blog Hop! There are $2400 in PRIZES to be awarded, so you will definitely want to hop along the entire hop, leaving a comment at each stop for your chance to win.

I’ve recently joined the Altenew design team after spending quite a few months as a release guest, and I truly have nothing but good things to say about this wonderful company. They are generous, warm, and welcoming in all the best ways, and I’m having an absolute BLAST creating with their products. I stepped away from florals for a bit, and it feels so good to bring them back into my crafting life — like reconnecting with an old creative friend.

Today I'm featuring the Craft Your Life: Honeycomb Haven project kit, and it mixes some ink blended florals with the cutest honey themed goodies!

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base.
  • Emboss ivory glitter cardstock with the Honeycomb Haven 3D embossing folder.
  • Ink blend the embossed panel with Sunray & Chamomile ink, then mount to the card front.
  • Stamp the honey jar & spoon outlines in black ink.
  • Stamp the honey jar layers in Sunray, Chamomile, Mint Choc, Pool and Mystic Lake.
  • Stamp the spoon layers in Sand Dunes, Rocky Shore and Mocha.
  • Ink blend the Zero Waste: Honeycomb Haven stencils to white cardstock in the following ink colors:

Stencil 4: 

  • Diecut the stamped and stenciled images with their coordinating die.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment in Antique gold to white cardstock.
  • Diecut with two extra layers, then stack & glue together.
  • Arrange and adhere the elements to the front as shown.
  • Accent with crystal moonlight sequins to finish.
