All Treats, No Tricks: 11 cards featuring the Heroween Box from Hero Arts

Day 1

I think the ghosts, pumpkins, and other Halloween cuties from the Hero Arts Heroween box (WHICH IS STILL AVAILABLE, by the way!) may have taken over my craft room! One card turned into two, two somehow became eleven, and now I have a whole collection to share! Today I'm rounding up all 11 projects in one happy little Halloween gathering. There are playful scenes, inky backgrounds, a sprinkle of splatters here & There, and plenty of seasonal charm. Come along and visit each card, I promise they're a very friendly bunch!

Day 1 is the cutest die set, with two friends all ready for Trick or Treating! 🎃 I can't get over the wide eyes on that little black kitty! I also used the extra stamp set from the box to help bring this cute little candy scene together.

Easy step-by-step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base.
  • Trim Chiffon cardstock slightly smaller, then round the upper right edge.
  • Stamp the sentiment & Halloween elements in black, and heat emboss the scattered stars in gold to the front.
  • Mount to the card front with foam tape.
  • Diecut the pieces from day 1, then assemble.
  • Arrange and adhere to the card front.
  • Accent with Aura AB jewels to finish.

Day 2-3

Day 2 was a sentiment stamp, so I combined it with day 3 to create this spooky little shaker! I also had to include the chonky little bat from day 1, because he is just SO cute. What I love about the Heroween Box is that you can mix & match pretty much everything included in it!

Easy step-by-step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base.
  • Ink blend a night sky to white cardstock, then splatter with white & gold.
  • Adhere to the card front once dry.
  • Diecut an arch from matte gold cardstock, then adhere acetate to the back of it to create a shaker window.
  • Add glitter mix and the black stars from the box to the middle of the card.
  • Mount the shaker window to the card front with foam tape.
  • Diecut the pieces from day 3, then assemble.
  • Arrange and adhere to the card front.
  • Stamp the sentiment in black to white cardstock, then diecut.
  • Mount to the card front with thin foam strips to finish.

Day 4

Day 4 is the CUTEST candy die set, which I combined with the Ghost trick-or-treater from day 1, and the extra stamp set included in the box! You don't always have to pick dark colors, or "Halloween" colors to create a Halloween card. I am absolutely LOVING all the pastel on this one!

Easy step-by-step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base.
  • Trim Waterfall cardstock to 4" x 5.25".
  • Heat emboss the scattered stars in white to the front.
  • Mount to the card front with foam tape.
  • Diecut the pieces from day 4 and day 1, then assemble.
  • Stamp & heat emboss the sentiments two the candy pieces.
  • Arrange and adhere to the card front.
  • Accent with jewels to finish.

Day 5

Heroween Day 5 is giving full haunted house charm! The warm glow, kitties giving side-eye, and the moonlit mischief pair perfectly with the treats from Day 3. Those two were absolutely meant to stir up spooky magic together!

Easy step-by-step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base.
  • Trim Anchor cardstock to 4" x 5.25", then splatter with Raven.
  • Mount to the card front with foam tape once dry.
  • Diecut the pieces from day 5 and day 3, then assemble.
  • Arrange and adhere to the card front.
  • Stamp the sentiment in black to white cardstock, then diecut.
  • Trim into two pieces, then mount to the card front with foam tape.
  • Accent with jewels & black stars to finish.

Day 6

Heroween Day 6 is giving full "front porch on Halloween" vibes! The glowing windows, the tiny pumpkins, the swooping bat, and of course, the side‑eye kitty from Day 5 keeping watch like only a Halloween cat can. I wasn't sure I loved the elements from day 6 until I diecut them in my signature colors. Then I fell in love with it!

Easy step-by-step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base, then cover with Seaside cardstock..
  • Diecut the arch elements from white & Chiffon cardstock, then adhere together.
  • Diecut the pieces from day 6 and Day 5, then assemble.
  • Arrange and adhere to the arch element.
  • Stamp the sentiment & house numbers directly to the front in black.
  • Mount to the card front with foam tape.
  • Accent with jewels & black stars to finish.

TIP: To make my windows, moons, stars & such extra glowy, I diecut them from ivory glitter cardstock and then ink blended them in shades of yellow. I did this on almost every card!

Day 7

Heroween Day 7 brings all the spooky scene magic today! The fence and the pumpkins are teamed up with the elements from Day 5, coming together in the most delightfully eerie way. I can't seem to stop featuring those cutie kitties giving some glorious side-eye. Lol! The little black splatter was the perfect finishing touch!

Easy step-by-step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base, then cover with Chiffon cardstock.
  • Round the upper right corner of the card, then splatter with Raven.
  • Diecut the pieces from day 7 and Day 5, then assemble.
  • Arrange and adhere to the card front.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment in gold, then trim.
  • Mount to the card front with foam tape to finish.

Day 8

Heroween Day 8 is all about candy corn & Trick or Treat vibes today! I can't get over how CUTE this set is. Plus, I couldn’t resist adding those tiny black star sequins from the box here and there for the sweetest little sparkle!

Easy step-by-step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base.
  • Trim Beeswax cardstock to 4" x 5.25".
  • Stamp the sentiment to the front in black.
  • Diecut the pieces from day 8, then assemble.
  • Arrange and adhere to the card front as shown.
  • Draw the spider web with black pen & a ruler.
  • Mount the panel to the card front with foam tape.
  • Accent with Prism AB jewels & black stars to finish.

Day 9

Heroween Day 9 is glowing tonight...literally. That lantern from today’s die set is my absolute favorite, and it shines so beautifully alongside the tree and moon from Day 5! I couldn’t resist adding the chonky bat from Day 1 to finish off the spooky little scene.

Honestly, I really didn't love this die set when I opened it, apart from the lantern. But I started cutting elements out and partnering them with the other days, and this ended up being one of my favorite cards from the entire box!

Easy step-by-step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base, then cover with Chiffon cardstock..
  • Splatter with black, then set aside to dry.
  • Once dry, stamp the word Boo directly to the card front in black.
  • Diecut the pieces from day 9, Day 5 and Day 1, then assemble.
  • Arrange and adhere to the card front.
  • Accent with jewels & black stars to finish.

Day 10

Heroween Day 10 is drifting in on a magical little cloud today! I blended a soft, dreamy background to set the scene, then paired the witchy kitty dies from Day 10 with the front porch elements from Day 6 to build this adorable trick‑or‑treat moment.

Easy step-by-step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base.
  • Trim White cardstock to 4" x 5.25:, then ink blend the cloud background to it.
  • Splatter with white & gold, then set aside to dry.
  • Once dry, mount to the card front with foam tape.
  • Diecut the pieces from day 10 and Day 6, then assemble.
  • Diecut a circle from ivory glitter, then ink blend with yellow.
  • Stamp the numbers to the doorway in black.
  • Arrange and adhere the pieces to the card front.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment in Gilded Sparkle, then diecut.
  • Mount to the card front with foam strips.
  • Accent the moon with jewels to finish.

Day 11

Heroween Day 11 is serving up sweet treats once again, and I am absolutely delighted that I managed to create sour gummy worms just by ink blending on white glitter cardstock! It felt a little like candy making magic. I mostly stayed true to the goodies inside the box, but this day happened to pair perfectly with the Trick or Treat 3D Embossing Folder from Spellbinders, so I couldn't resist using it to create a fun and festive background.

Easy step-by-step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base.
  • Trim Chiffon cardstock slightly smaller, then round the upper right edge.
  • Emboss with the Trick or Treat 3D embossing folder, then adhere to the card front.
  • Diecut the pieces from day 11 and Day 4, then assemble.
  • Arrange and adhere to the card front.
  • Accent with Spectrum AB jewels to finish.

I turned the little bag into a shaker element that really didn't shake. It's a bit fussy, so I would suggest trying something else. Lol!

Day 12-13

Heroween Day 12 brought us a sentiment stamp set, and I just had to pair it with the absolutely cutest Trick-or-Treaters revealed on Day 13! To finish off the scene, I sprinkled in elements from Days 5 and 7, creating a card packed with all the charming Halloween magic I could fit onto one card. For the night sky, I wandered beyond the Heroween box and reached for some glow in the dark stars, which added the perfect twinkling touch to this moonlit adventure.

And just like that, we've reached the end of my Heroween journey! In total, I created 11 cards from 13 days of reveals. I skipped individual reveals for the days featuring only sentiment stamp sets, but honestly, that barely scratches the surface of the possibilities. With all of these enchanting dies and stamps, you could easily create hundreds of unique cards by mixing and matching the pieces in new ways. The Halloween crafting fun feels practically endless!

Heroween Boxes are still available, and there is plenty of time to get yours before Halloween arrives. So gather your supplies, cue up your favorite spooky movie, and treat yourself to a Halloween crafting extravaganza filled with pumpkins, costumes, candy, and creativity! 🎃✨

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base, then cover with Oceanside cardstock..
  • Round the upper right corner, then splatter with white & gold.
  • Heat emboss and stamp the sentiments in gold & black, then diecut.
  • Mount to the card front with foam tape.
  • Diecut the pieces from day 13, Day 7 and Day 5, then assemble.
  • Arrange and adhere to the card front.
  • Accent the sky with glow in the dark stars to finish.
