Perfect Picnic with Honey Bee Stamps: July 2026 Release Inspiration

July Release Instagram Hop - Lovely Layers: Hamburger + Stacked with Joy stamp & die set

The Perfect Picnic release at Honey Bee Stamps is live, and it is bursting with the cutest summer‑themed stamps and dies! Nothing screams summer quite like a red gingham tablecloth and a stacked, juicy burger, so I had to lean all the way into the picnic theme for today’s card. The Lovely Layers: Hamburger die set, along with a couple items from Lovely Layers: Sub Sandwich, made it so easy to build this dimensional birthday burger! I paired it with a fun sentiment from the Stacked with Joy stamp set to finish things off.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold white A2 card base.
  • Diecut white cardstock with the largest Lovely Layouts: Party die, and adhere to the front.
  • Diecut the red gingham paper with the postage style die, then mount to the front.
  • Diecut the label style die from gold pearl, then mount to the front.
  • Diecut the pieces from Lovely Layers: Hamburger and Sub Sandwich.
  • Assemble and glue together the corresponding pieces.
  • Assemble and adhere the burger to the middle of the gold label, adding thin foam strips to the top layer.
  • Heat emboss the main sentiment in gilded sparkle to white cardstock, then diecut.
  • Stamp the secondary sentiment in Nocturne to white cardstock, then diecut.
  • Mount the sentiments to the front with foam tape.
  • Accent with ombre pearls and iridescent gems to finish.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold white A2 card base.
  • Trim the black gingham paper slightly smaller, then mount to the front.
  • Stamp the fruit clusters to white cardstock in gray ink. Leave the stamps in your stamping platform.
  • Ink blend the fruit clusters with the coordinating stencils. (Colors are in the video.)
  • Add the panel back to your platform, and re-stamp in black ink.
  • Diecut each stamped element with its coordinating die.
  • Heat emboss the main sentiment in gilded sparkle to white cardstock, then diecut.
  • Stamp the secondary sentiment in Nocturne to white cardstock, then diecut.
  • Adhere the sentiments to the front as shown.
  • Arrange the fruit clusters around the sentiment, and adhere with 1mm foam tape.
  • Trim away excess from the sides, then finish the lower right corner with the trimmed away lemon piece.
  • Accent with Rainbow Birthday iridescent gems to finish.

  • Strawberries: Watermelon, Poppy
  • Lemons: Buttercup
  • Peaches: Nectar, Grapefruit, Sorbet
  • Huckleberries: Plumberry
  • Flowers: Pink Lemonade, Watermelon, Honeysuckle
  • Greenery: Clover, Evergreen, Rainforest

**If I only used 1-2 colors, you can assume that I doubled up for some of the stencil layers in order to make the blending more subtle.

July Release Video Hop - Fruit Medley stencil & die set

I'm excited to be joining my friends at Honey Bee Stamps for the Perfect Picnic video hop today! I am creating with the fabulous new Fruit Medley stencil & die set, and we are going to do a lot of ink blending together today.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold white A2 card base.
  • Ink blend the fruits from the Fruit Medley stencils to white cardstock. (Colors are in the video.)
  • Ink blend the background to Blush cardstock, then finish the final stencil with glitter paste.
  • Diecut the fruit elements with their coordinating dies.
  • Trim away any white, as these are intended to be borderless.
  • Arrange the diecut fruit elements to the panel as shown, then trim away the excess.
  • Heat emboss the main sentiment in gilded sparkle to white cardstock, then diecut.
  • Stamp the secondary sentiment in Nocturne to white cardstock, then diecut.
  • Adhere the sentiments to the front as shown.
  • Accent with Happy Hearts iridescent gems to finish.

July Release Live #2 - Summer Scene Builder + Lovely Layers: Picnic Table die set

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold white A2 card base.
  • Ink blend the Summer Scene stencils to an A2 white cardstock panel in Aqua Sky, Parsley, Basil, Evergreen and Rainforest ink.
  • Adhere the panel directly to the card base.
  • Diecut the Lovely layers: Picnic Table pieces, then assemble.
  • Adhere the Picnic Table & umbrella to the front.
  • Arrange the food elements to the table as shown.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment in Pearl Gold Sparkle to white cardstock.
  • Diecut with two extra layers, then stack & glue.
  • Mount to the center of the umbrella with foam tape.
  • Accent with Rainbow Birthday iridescent gems to finish.
