I’m so excited to be jumping in for the very first time with the Hero Studio monthly kits from Hero Arts—and July’s lineup is a creative treat! Between the Card Kit of the Month, Die Set of the Month, and Layering Stencils of the Month, I had such a blast playing with color, texture, and a big dose of retro charm. Each card brought something a little different to the table, and I love how they all came together with that signature Hero Arts style.
Curious how the Hero Studio kits work each month? Here's a quick rundown:
It’s an easy, flexible system—and such a fun way to keep fresh creativity arriving at your door. 🚗💌
Even better? This post is part of a blog hop, which means there is a prize up for grabs and loads of inspiration waiting around every corner. So grab a comfy seat and let’s dive into the July kits—I can't wait to show you what I made!
Want to watch all five of my cards come to life? Check out today's video! If you enjoyed this little creative road trip with me, I’d love for you to subscribe to my channel and tap the notification bell so you don’t miss any crafty detours ahead. Thanks so much for stopping by—it means the world!
These three cards had me cruising right into crafty joy! I used the Hero Studio Card Kit of the Month to whip up this little trio of retro road trip vibes—complete with scenic skies, winding highways, and the ultimate encouragement to keep going (with a little flair, of course). I couldn’t resist those vintage details and uplifting sentiments—because sometimes the best creative detours happen when you let your imagination steer.
Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)
Here are simple instructions on how to create today's cards:
Whether you're road-tripping across the country or just down the street to your craft desk, this kit is such a fun way to bring the journey to life. With a few simple layers and a little creative play, you can turn cardstock into postcards from the heart. I loved creating this trio and hope it inspires your next stop on the crafting map!
These two cards were such a blast to make—like a creative road trip with all the best pit stops! I played with the Hero Studio Die of the Month and Layering Stencils of the Month, and they’re serving up serious retro vibes. Between the cassette tape (hello, mixtape nostalgia!) and the colorful stenciled pep talk, I felt like I was crafting straight from the passenger seat of our ‘80s Ford Tempo Stationwagon....lol! These designs pack a punch of positivity and a little wink of whimsy—and honestly, I’d make them all over again just for the fun of it.

I loved the playful energy in these two projects—between the pop of those layered stencils and that sweet little die-cut tape, it was like crafting straight from a road trip playlist. If you’re in the mood for a dose of color and a smile you can send in an envelope, these kits definitely hit the mark. Can’t wait to see where next month’s detour leads!
As mentioned, today’s post is one scenic stop on an inspiring blog hop—and you’ll want to buckle up, because there’s a $50 Hero Arts gift card up for grabs! 🚗✨ To enter, just leave a comment below by Saturday, July 5th at 11:59pm PT.
