Fresh Inspiration with Altenew: July 2026 Release Blog Hop + PRIZES

Happy Saturday, crafty friends! I’m happy to be part of the blog hop today for Altenew’s July release, where there are $300 in prizes up for grabs.

I've created a 2-in-1 card set featuring the new Winter Woodland stamp & die set in shades of pink to red, and I absolutely love how it turned out! You can watch it come to life in the short video below.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold (2) A2 white card bases.
  • Stamp the tree in a gradient of Cotton Candy, Coral Red and Cherry Sweet inks.
  • Heat emboss the Winter Woodland full background in iridescent glitter to blush cardstock.
  • Diecut the tree from both panels.
  • Adhere the stamped panel to the middle of one card base.
  • Create a shaker window from the pink layers.
  • Add the shaker mix to the middle of the card, then mount the shaker window over top.
  • Adhere strips of Blush, Rouge, Crimson and Brushed Gold cardstock at an angle to the other card base.
  • Mount the leftover tree to the middle with foam tape.
  • Stamp both sentiments in obsidian to white cardstock, then diecut.
  • Mount the sentiments to each card front with foam tape.
  • Accent with sequins to finish.

I've paired it with the new Festive Greenery die and the previously released Cozy Sweater 3D embossing folder. I love freshening up older products with new, and this one was a perfect match!

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base.
  • Emboss a panel of Rouge cardstock with the Cozy Sweater 3D embossing folder.
  • Mount the panel to the card front with foam tape.
  • Stamp the latte art in Rocky Shore & Mocha.
  • Stamp the mugs in Coral Red & Cherry Kiss, and Pool & Mystic Lake.
  • Stamp the sentiment in obsidian to white cardstock.
  • Diecut all the elements with their coordinating die, plus an extra sentiment layer from Citrine glitter cardstock and the spoon from Brushed Gold.
  • Adhere the latte art to each mug, and the glitter sentiment layer as a drop shadow.
  • Diecut the Festive Greenery from Dew Drops and Brilliant Red glitter cardstock, then assemble.
  • Arrange and adhere the elements to the front as shown.
  • Dab Iridescent Glitter relief paste to the white areas of the latte art to finish.

Altenew July Release Instagram Hop

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base, then cover with pale blue cardstock.
  • Ink blend the Winterberry Poinsettia stencils to white cardstock in the following colors:

Stencil 1: Pink Pearl, Sunlit Sand
Stencil 2: Coral Bliss, Arctic
Stencil 3: Heart Beat, Espresso
Stencil 4: Matcha Tea, Chamomile

  • Line the ink blending up with the Winterberry Poinsettia 3D embossing folder, then run through your diecut machine.
  • Trim to 4" x 5.25", then mount to the card front with foam tape.
  • Dab Iridescent Glitter relief paste to the flower centers and berries with a cotton swap.
  • Diecut the inner sentiment die three times: once from Moonstone and twice from white cardstock.
  • Diecut the outer shadow layer once from vellum.
  • Stack & glue together. then mount to the card front with thin foam tape.
  • Accent with Twinkling Pink sequins to finish.
