Floral Congrats Card + Pinkfresh Studio weekend promo

Happy Saturday, crafty friends! I just wanted to pop in today and share a card I've been working on over the past couple of day. It features some products that are part of our weekend promo at Pinkfresh Studio this weekend! You can find all the details you need in the linked graphic below.

Floral Congrats card

To start this card, I stamped a Floral Shadow background in Ballet Slipper ink. I diecut it using the largest Stitched Rectangle, and set it aside. I also diecut the Intricate Mandala two times; once from gold pearl satin foil paper and once from white cardstock. I layered them together, trimmed it in half and set aside.

Next I worked on the florals. I heat embossed the Believe in Yourself image to white cardstock in gilded embossing powder. Then I stamped the layers in the following ink colors: Ballet Slipper, Coral Reef, Raspberry Bliss, Stargazer, Marigold & Misty Coast. Then I cut it out with the coordinating die.

Next I worked on the sentiment from Layered Script Words. I stamped the word Congrats in the following colors: Raspberry Bliss, Stargazer and Coral Reef. (I like to stamp small stamps like this with our ink cubes because it gives me some added control. However, you can absolutely stamp them with the full sized ink pads as well.) Then I diecut it with the coordinating die, along with two more layers. I stacked & adhered those layers to give the sentiment some dimension. I heat embossed the secondary sentiment in white from the Believe in Yourself stamp set and trimmed it into a thin strip.

At this point it was time to assemble the card. I mounted the background panel to an A2 white card base using foam adhesive. I adhered the mandala pieces to the top & bottom, then mounted the florals to the middle. I added the sentiment to the bottom of the florals with foam tape, then mounted the thin sentiment strip below it. To finish, I accented each card with the Essentials: Jewels Mix, and added a little shimmer to the flowers with a Midas Touch shimmer pen.

That is everything that I have for you today! Before you move along with your day, I wanted to invite you to follow me on social media. I would love to be crafty friends online!
