Spotlight on Papertrey Ink: June 2026 Release

June Release Instagram Hop - Build-A-Pineapple + Destination Sentiments

The June release is now live at Papertrey Ink, and it is packed with so much summer goodness! Think travel, air mail and pineapple cocktail building.

If you like piña coladas… well, now that song is officially stuck in my head for the rest of the day. I’m featuring the new Build‑A‑Pineapple die set, and I am truly obsessed! It’s the perfect mix of cute and quirky, and I couldn’t resist pairing it with a greeting from Destination Sentiments. And of course, the So Radiant stencils had to make an appearance! I keep reaching for that set because it works with absolutely everything. I swear, it’s becoming my new “can’t craft without it” staple.

I really want to create this card again, with a mountain & lake backdrop. I'm not much for the beach, but sitting on a paddleboard in the middle of a mountain lake sipping on a tiki drink....THAT is my kind of paradise. ;)

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold white A2 card base, then cover with Berry Sorbet cardstock.
  • Ink blend the So Radiant stencils to an A2 white cardstock panel in Lemon Tart, Harvest Gold and Bright Buttercup.
  • Trim slightly smaller, then mount to the card front with foam tape.
  • Diecut the circle from ivory glitter cardstock, then ink blend with Summer Sunrise.
  • Diecut the Build-A-Pineapple pieces, then assemble.
  • Ink blend the pineapple cups with Summer Sunrise.
  • Arrange the sun and tiki drinks to the card front as shown.
  • Heat emboss the word Paradise in gilded sparkle to white cardstock, then diecut with one extra layer. Stack & glue together.
  • Stamp Hello from in black to white cardstock, then diecut with one extra layer. Stack & glue together.
  • Mount the sentiments to the front with thin foam strips.
  • Accent with iridescent yellow jewels to finish.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold white A2 card base, then cover with Pure Poppy cardstock.
  • Ink blend the Postage stencils to an A2 white cardstock panel in these colors:

Stencil 1: Tropical Teal
Stencil 2: Pure Poppy
Stencil 3: Pale Peony
Stencil 4: Hibiscus Burst
Stencil 5: Hawaiian Shores
Stencil 6: Raspberry Fizz & Hawaiian Shores

  • Trim slightly smaller, then mount to the card front with foam tape.
  • Diecut the Stacked Mail details from white glitter cardstock.
  • Diecut the top Stacked Mail piece from white cardstock.
  • Stamp the mail elements to the top piece.
  • Layer red baker's twine around the top layer, then finish with a double bow.
  • Mount all three layers to the card front as shown, popping with foam tape.
  • Stamp Hello from in black to white cardstock, then diecut with two extra white layers and one from aqua glitter.
  • Stack & glue together, using the glitter layer as a drop shadow.
  • Adhere the sentiments to the front with liquid glue.
  • Accent with iridescent jewels to finish.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold white A2 card base.
  • Diecut the tickets from Sweet Blush, Lemon Tart, pale orange, Limeade Ice and Cosatal Blue cardstock.
  • Adhere the tickets to the card front in rainbow order, then trim away the overhang.
  • Stamp the tickets in Fresh Snow ink with the Always a Winner stamp set.
  • Diecut the VIP ticket from pink glitter cardstock.
  • Diecut the smallest Love to Layer: Ticket from white cardstock.
  • Stamp & heat emboss it with the VIP Tickets stamp collection.
  • Heat emboss the word VIP in gold sparkle to a scrap piece of white cardstock, then trim.
  • Mount the stamped & heat embossed layers to the glitter VIP ticket with foam tape.
  • Tie an aqua colored bow through the holes in the ticket, then mount the ticket to the card front.
  • Diecut the largest Scalloped Diamond from gold pearl paper, then trim the scallops into thin strips.
  • Adhere the scallops to the left & right edge to anchor the card design.
  • Accent with iridescent jewels to finish.

July Cardmaking Workshop - Through the Forest die + Destination Sentiments stamp & die

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold white A2 card base.
  • Diecut the Through the Forest layers from white cardstock, gold pearl and ivory glitter.
  • Ink blend the tree layers with Limeade Ice, Hawaiian Shores & Mint Julep inks.
  • Ink blend the moon with Lemon Tart and Harvest Gold inks.
  • Adhere the tree layers together, then add white & gold splatters.
  • Trim the starry patterned paper panel to 4" x 5.5".
  • Hot foil the Wild Arrows press plate to it in Aura colored foil.
  • Mount the panel to the card front with low profile foam tape.
  • Adhere the forest element aligned towards the bottom.
  • Glue the thin gold layer to the top.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment in gold sparkle to a scrap piece of white cardstock.
  • Diecut with two extra layers, then stack & glue together.
  • Mount the sentiment to the front with foam tape.
  • Accent with Aura AB gems to finish.
