Ornate Trellis BetterPress card + YouTube Live Replay

Happy Thursday, crafty friends! Popping in to share another BetterPress LetterPress card featuring the new press plates from Pinkfresh Studio! I created this card live a few weeks ago on the Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel, making it our first official sneak peek. Now our first collection of press plate designs have released, and they will be arriving on your doorsteps very soon! I can't wait to se what you create with your favorites!

For this card I featured the Ornate Trellis press plate & die, along with greetings from the Favorite Things Sentiments press plates & dies. It was exciting to realize that we could use our inks with the BetterPress system, so I featured Cherry Blossom and Sunkissed on my Ornate Trellis background, and I just love how it turned out! Thinking of You Every Day set

Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches) & mini slimline - 3.25" x 6.25" (inches)

 Here is a quick overview of how to recreate this card:

  • Cut & fold A2 card base from cream cardstock.
  • Press the Ornate Trellis plate into watercolor paper in Cherry Blossom & Sunkissed inks using the BetterPress LetterPress system.
  • Diecut with the Ornate Trellis coordinating die.
  • Press the main sentiment into watercolor paper in Begonia ink using the BetterPress LetterPress system.
  • Press the seconday sentiment into watercolor paper in Detail Black ink using the BetterPress LetterPress system.
  • Diecut each sentiment with the coordinating die.
  • Diecut the stitched scallop circle from ivory glitter cardstock.
  • Diecut the the garden wreath elements from ivory glitter, pink & peach cardstocks.
  • Adhere the Ornate Trellis panel to the card front with foam tape, then add the scalloped circles.
  • Mount the sentiments, then add the floral pieces.
  • Accent with Pixie Dust ombre glitter drops to finish.
