💌🥰I’m kicking off this week with some birthday month sparkle, featuring a card that’s basically a little party on paper. I seem to gravitate toward making birthday cards in January, and this one came together with a curated mix of festive goodies and a shimmery rainbow made using the glitter brush markers from Scrapbook.com! Easy step-by-step instructions:

• Cut & fold white A2 card base, then cover with pastel orange cardstock.
• Trim white cardstock slightly smaller, then lightly ink blend the edges with pastel pink & pastel orange.
• Adhere the ink blended panel to the card front.
• Diecut (2) star banners from gold pearl cardstock.
• Diecut the Swiss Dot Rectangle frame from pink glitter cardstock.
• Diecut the sentiment from mixed media white cardstock, white glitter cardstock and the shadow layers from vellum.
• Diecut all the pieces from the Birthday Wish die set from white mixed media cardstock.
• Color the cake layers and letters with glitter brush markers in a sherbet rainbow gradient.
• Assemble the cake and sentiment diecut pieces.
• Arrange the diecut elements to the front as shown, popping some with foam tape for added dimension.
• Accent with self-adhesive Aura AB jewels to finish.
