March Magic Unveiled: Up Close with the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month

Happy Wednesday, crafty friends! Long time no blog - we have officially moved to Montana and are getting settled into my mom's cozy home while we work towards building our forever home. My craft room is set up and once I finish battling this awful cold that I caught right upon arrival in MT... I'll be doing lives and lots more crafting!

Yesterday on Instagram, I shared an overview of all my March Club Kit cards for Spellbinders, and today, I'm going to start sharing them in more detail. I'm super excited to introduce you to these delightful creations! 🥰

First up are the cards focusing on the Large Die of the Month. These little beauties also feature embossing folders from both clubs, and sentiments straight from the kit. And let's not forget the adorable tulle skirt I added to the dinosaur—it just adds such a sweet, whimsical touch! 🦖💕

The best part about these kits is their versatility. My cards lean towards a more girly vibe, but you can absolutely create more masculine look! I've featured quite a few of the March kits on my cards today. You can subscribe to as many as you like, the whole caboodle or just pick your favorite, and mix them with products you already have on hand. This opens up a world of creative possibilities and allows you to craft truly unique cards.

Family & Friends Vignettes card set

Card size: A2 - 4.25 x 5.5 (inches) - click on the images above to see them larger.

Easy step by step instruction:

  • Cut & fold (2) A2 card bases from white cardstock.
  • Diecut all the pieces from colored cardstock, then adhere together as shown, adding a little bit of pink tulle under the dinosaur's skirt. (I've used Spellbinders cardstock colors, but you can use any that you have on hand.)
  • Emboss 5.5" x 8.5" white cardstock panels with the Mosaic Memories embossing folder and Floral Fence of Togetherness 3D embossing folders.
  • Ink blend each embossed panel in shades of pink, purple and blues.
  • Trim the 2D panel to 4.25" x 5.5" and the 3D panel to 4" x 5.25".
  • Mount to the card bases, popping the 3D panel up with foam adhesive.
  • Arrange the diecuts to the front as shown, adding a little bit of pink tulle under dinosaur's skirt.
  • Stamp the sentiment and diecut for the dinosaur card, then attach as shown.
  • Hot foil in aura and diecut the other sentiment, and mount to the front.
  • Accent with Aura AB gems to finish.
