Living the Charmed Life with Spellbinders November Clubs: 11 Cards Full of Sass & Sweetness

Hey there, crafty friends! This month’s Spellbinders Clubs are giving major main character energy — and I leaned all the way in. With a theme like “Charmed Life,” how could I not channel my inner Elle Woods? Think pinks and soft blues, tiny dogs with big personalities, and a whole lot of charm packed into 11 handmade cards.

From glam details to sweet sentiments, these kits inspired me to create projects that feel stylish, joyful, and just a little extra (in the best way). Whether you're a fellow dog lover, a fan of pretty palettes, or just here for the crafty inspo, I hope these cards bring a smile and spark your creativity.

I’m kicking things off with the Small and Large Dies of the Month from Spellbinders, paired with both embossing folders for extra texture and charm. The flying pig, this month’s freebie in the Deluxe Caboodle, coordinates with the purse and charms from the Large Die, but honestly, he’s stealing the show all on his own. I couldn’t resist turning him into a punny little brunch card…because who says pigs can’t be fabulous? (And also...bacon. Lol!)

All clubs will be linked below for easy clicking!

Kits Featured:

  • Small Die of the Month
  • Large Die of the Month
  • 3D Embossing Folder of the Month
  • Embossing Folder of the Month
  • BetterPress of the Month
  • Deluxe Caboodle (freebie)

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold (3) A2 card bases.
  • Cut (3) A2 card panels from white, pink & blue cardstock.

Thanks a Brunch Card:

  • Emboss the pink panel with the 3D embossing folder.
  • Trim to 3.75" x 5", then mount to the front of a card base.
  • Diecut all the pieces from the small die set, then assemble.
  • Mount the diecut pieces to the card front, then add the sentiment with thin foam strips.
  • Accent with self-adhesive gems in Opal to finish.

Charmed to Know You Card:

  • Emboss the white panel with the embossing folder, then adhere to a card front.
  • Diecut all the pieces from the large die of the month set, and assemble.
  • Foil the press plate sentiment in gold to white cardstock, then diecut.
  • Mount the diecut pieces to the card front, then add the sentiment with thin foam strips.
  • Accent with self-adhesive gems in Aura AB to finish.

Let's Do Brunch Card:

  • Emboss the blue panel with the 3D embossing folder.
  • Trim slightly smaller, then mount to the front of a card base.
  • Dieecut all the pieces from the freebie die, and assemble.
Diecut the sentiment from the small die of the month.
  • Mount the diecut pieces to the card front, then add the sentiment banner with thin foam strips.
  • Accent with self-adhesive gems in Opal to finish.

TIP: You can absolutely emboss directly onto the card front for card #2, but I find that a little tricky. I prefer embossing a separate panel and adhering it to the front -  it’s just easier for me. Go with whatever method feels most comfortable to you!

Next up are three cards that feel straight out of Elle Woods’ stationery stash — soft, sparkly, and unapologetically charming. I used the Glimmer of the Month, Stitching Die, and Wax Seal clubs to build these layered designs, and that blush foil from the Glimmer kit? Total perfection. It adds just the right touch of glam to balance out the cozy textures and playful details. Whether it’s brunch plans or bestie love, these cards are all about celebrating the little things in style.

Kits Featured:

For my Best Brunch Mate:

  • Diecut an oval from pink cardstock, and an oval frame from gold pearl.
  • Stack & adhere the ovals to the left side of the card.
  • Melt coral wax, pour in an oval shape and press the seal into it.
  • Let set, then gently remove the seal.
  • Adhere the wax seal to the middle of the oval.
  • Foil the press plate sentiment in gold, then adhere below the seal.
  • Accent with self-adhesive gems in Spectrum AB to finish.

Up next is a playful trio featuring this month’s BetterPress, Clear Stamp & Die, and Stencil kits. I had a little foiling mishap on the BetterPress card, (hello, overfoiling) but instead of scrapping it, I turned the extra shimmer into a leash accent and added a few sparkly gems for good measure. Honestly? I’m kinda obsessed with how it turned out. Imperfections happen, but sometimes they lead to the cutest little surprises.

Rounding things out with a sweet duo featuring both embossing folders this month, plus a few standout die sets that bring the charm. That little teddy bear? Total cuteness overload — and while there weren’t any baby-themed sentiments in this month’s kits, he’d be perfect for a baby card with a quick sentiment swap. Whether you go classic or playful, these designs are easy to personalize and full of heart.
