Ink Blended Charming Floral Border card with NEW Pinkfresh Studio inks

Happy Monday, crafty friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Ours was really great, with the exception of our HVAC system going out. With temps in the 90s. Lol! So while I had planned on lots of crafting time when not watching football or being out & about with Josh...it ended up just being way too hot in my office. Our temps will drop back down to normal in a few days, so hopefully I can make that time up soon!

I wanted to pop in in to share another card that I've created for the Pinkfresh Studio September 2023 Ink release. I grabbed a ton of previously released products for creating my cards this month, and I really think the new inks are breathing new life into them. This is our Charming Floral Border product suite, where I've focused on the hot foil plate and one of the sentiments from the stamp set.

Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)

 Here is a quick overview of how to recreate these cards:

  • Create (1) A2 sized card base from citron colored cardstock.
  • Foil the Charming Floral Border hot foil plate in Aura colored foil to white cardstock.
  • Use the Solid Hot Foil Plate to reverse foil the leftover.
  • Ink blend the foiled flower cluster & bolder lace background in Citron, Bay Leaf, Paradise & Atlantis inks.
  • Diecut all the elements with their coordinating dies.
  • Ink blend the Diamond Plaid background in Sky Blue to white cardstock.
  • Diecut with the largest stitched rectangle, then into two pieces.
  • Diecut both of those pieces with a classic edger die.
  • Diecut the sentiment layers from iridescent gold cardstock, white cardstock & vellum. Stack & glue together.
  • Layering the elements to each card front as shown, popping some layers up with foam tape for added dimension.
  • Accent with Enchanted Forest ombre glitter drops to finish.
