Pretty Pink Posh September Release Video Hop

The Pretty Pink Posh Holiday release is LIVE and I'm joining today's Video Inspiration Hop! I’m serving up some serious holiday cheer with the new Gingerbread Mugs die set, Candy Cane Stripe stencil, and a cozy sentiment from the Christmas Banner Greetings. These sweet little gingerbread cuties are ready to warm your heart (and your cocoa) with candy canes, mugs, and a whole lot of charm!

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 card base.
  • Cut 6x6 panel from white cardstock.
  • Ink blend the plaid panel using the Candy Cane Stripe stencil with cherry blossom ink.
  • Trim to A2 sized, then adhere to the card front.
  • Diecut the Gingerbread Mugs layers, then ink blend the edges of the mug in warm buff.
  • Assemble both mugs and the candy canes, then adhere together.
  • Diecut the Eyelet Rectangle, then diecut the middle to make a frame.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment in white to red cardstock, then diecut.
  • Mount the Eyelet Rectangle frame to the front with foam adhesive.
  • Layer the diecut pieces to the front as shown.
  • Mount the sentiment to the front with thin foam strips.
  • Accent with Sparkling Clear jewels to finish.

Featuring the Christmas Bells designs from Pretty Pink Posh's September release, it’s got all the vintage sparkle and cozy charm I love this time of year. One crafty friend said it looked like a Christmas cookie, and honestly? I’m obsessed with that comparison. 🍪🎄

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 card base.
  • Cut A2 panel from white cardstock.
  • Ink blend stencils C & B from Layered Christmas Bells in Cherry Blossom and Mint ink.
  • Prep panel with anti-static powder before adding stencil A.
  • Gently daub embossing ink into the stencil openings, then carefully remove.
  • Cover in Pearl Gold Sparkle embossing powder, then heat set.
  • Diecut with a stitched rectangle, then mount to the card front with 1mm foam tape.
  • Diecut the Christmas Bells Shaker layers.
  • Ink blend the holly leaves & greenery to add gradation, then splatter with white.
  • Assemble the Christmas Bell, gluing the bow layers to the top.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment in white to pink cardstock, then diecut.
  • Adhere the bell to the front, the mount the sentiment underneath it.
  • Arrange the greenery pieces as shown, then add berries to finish.
  • OPTIONAL: Frost the berries by smudging a little glue to each one, then covering in a glitter mix.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

Joyful Holiday Wishes card:

  • Cut & fold A2 card base.
  • Cut A2 panel from white cardstock.
  • Ink blend the Layered Christmas Cake Pop stencils in the colors shown, heat embossing the final stencil with iridescent sparkle embossing powder.
  • Turn the panel into an edge to edge shaker element, fill with Rustic Christmas shaker beads and a glitter mix, then seal.
  • Adhere to the card front.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment in white to red cardstock, then diecut.
  • Diecut the Christmas Cake Pop layers from white cardstock, then ink blend.
  • Assemble cake pops as shown.
  • Diecut the scalloped frame from dark grey cardstock, then mount to the shaker card front.
  • Arrange the cake pop elements and the sentiment to the front.
  • Accent the cake pop elements with jewels to finish.

Merry Christmas card:

  • Cut & fold A2 card base.
  • Diecut the Argyle pierced plate from white cardstock.
  • Trim slightly smaller, and mount to the card front.
  • Diecut the Storybook 4 die from dark grey & white cardstock.
  • Adhere to the card front, popping the top frame with thin foam strips.
  • Diecut the Christmas Holder Additions pieces, then assemble.
  • Arrange the pieces in the Storybook frame as shown, leaving a space for the sentiment.
  • Stamp the sentiment in red & black ink, then diecut.
  • Diecut the scalloped strip from gold pearl, then adhere together.
  • Adhere the sentiment in the space left for it.
  • Accent with jewels to finish.
  • OPTIONAL: Diecut a Gingerbread holder, assemble and use as a decoration for the card.

That’s one of my favorite things about Paulina’s collections…they’re designed to mix & match beautifully across seasons. 💖

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 card base.
  • Cut 6x6 panel from white cardstock.
  • Ink blend candy cane stencils in cherry blossom and berrylicious.
  • Diecut panel with stitched rectangle die, then mount to the card base.
  • Diecut the Candy Cane Shaker layers, then assemble and fill with candy cane shaker beads and glitter.
  • Diecut holly leaves and pine boughs from white cardstock, then ink blend in mint and paradise.
  • Diecut the bows from light pink & ivory glitter cardstock, then berries from both colors and white.
  • Diecut the word merry one from ivory glitter and twice from white cardstock.
  • Diecut the shadow layer from vellum, then stack & glue together.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment in white to pink cardstock, then diecut.
  • Adhere the candy cane shaker and the word Merry to the front, the mount the sentiment underneath it.
  • Arrange the greenery pieces as shown, then add berries to finish.
  • Accent with self-adhesive Aura AB jewels to finish.
