Happy Birthday Rainbow Slimline with Pinkfresh Studio
Oct 27, 2020 | By: Lea Lawson
Happy Tuesday, crafty friends! I wanted to pop in and share a fun rainbow card I've created using a combination of new & older products from Pinkfresh Studio. What I love most about our products is that we create a lot of Essentials & Basics that you can use time & time again...it makes the investment in the product worth it! We know that crafting supplies aren't cheap, and we want to make sure that you will continue to reach for them for year's to come.
Rainbow Happy Birthday Slimline card
I started by ink blending the background in rainbow colors that are all linked above, using the Leafy Squares slimline stencil. This is such a modern design, and it just screamed to be used with rainbow colors! Once the ink blending was done, I diecut the panel with the largest Slim Stitched Rectangle, then adhered it to a dark pink slimline card base. I cut the Gradiating Stripes die from all the different colors of cardstock 2 times. (This is a little bit of a labor of love, but you will have all those different strips of colored cardstock that you can use on more cards in the future!) I adhered the smallest strips in rainbow order to white cardstock, then diecut the word HAPPY from it using the Adore Alpha dies. I also diecut them from champagne glitter cardstock, using just the outline when I mounted the letters to the card front. The outlines were glued flush to the card, and the rainbow letters where popped up with foam strips. I diecut the word birthday three times from the Phrase Builder: Happy die set: once from matching champagne glitter cardstock, and twice from white cardstock. I stacked & adhered them together, then mounted to the card front with foam strips to finish off the sentiment. Finally, I accented with Essentials: Crystals Mix in rainbow order to finish.
