Fresh Inspiration with Altenew: September 2026 Release

Hello, crafty friends! The September release at Altenew is now available for purchase, and it is full of cozy goodness!

I've created this card for the release video hop, featuring the Tea Potpourri stencils, along with a sentiment from The Afternoon Spread stamp & die set. You can watch it come to life in the video below!

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base, then cover with Blush cardstock.
  • Trim white cardstock to 4" x 5.25", then ink blend with the Tea Potpourri stencils in the following colors:

Stencil 1: Pool, Snapdragon
Stencil 2: Strawberry, Pink Pearl, Sunray
Stencil 3: Chamomile, Mystic Lake

  • Ink blend only the citrus elements again, then diecut with a circle die.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment in Antique Gold to white cardstock.
  • Diecut with extra layers from white & pink glitter cardstock.
  • Stack & glue together, using the pink layer as a drop shadow.
  • Mount the citrus and sentiment to the card front with foam tape.
  • Accent with Clear Iridescent gem crystals to finish.

Altenew September Release YT Shorts Hop

I'm also joining the September 2026 release fun with Altenew for the YT Shorts Hop! This fall inspired card features the Softly Sketched Blooms product suite, with a sentiment perfect for congratulating the bride & groom. I've added a partial shaker element to the bottom to make it extra special!

I've featured the My Favorite Mugs and Warm & Cozy Sentiments die sets, the Weathered Bark 3D embossing folder and a little sub-sentiment from the Cozy Mornings stamp set.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base.
  • Emboss 4" x 5.25" Pink Sand cardstock panel with the Weathered Bark 3D embossing folder.
  • Mount to the card front with foam tape.
  • Diecut the My Favorite Mugs pieces, then assemble & adhere together.
  • Adhere the shelf & mugs to the card front as shown.
  • Diecut the sentiment pieces from glitter cardstock, white cardstock & vellum.
  • Stack & glue together as shown.
  • Stamp the secondary sentiment in Obsidian to white cardstock, then trim into a thin strip.
  • Adhere the thin strip along the bottom of the first shelf.
  • Mount the diecut sentiment below it with thin foam strips.
  • Accent with Iridescent Crystals Gem Sparkles to finish.
