Fresh Inspiration with Altenew: February 2026 Release Blog Hop + PRIZES

Happy Sunday, crafty friends! I’m back with another dose of floral magic for Altenew’s February release, and these new goodies are giving me all the fairytale feels. ✨🏰🌸

Today I’m featuring the Enchanted Castle Window 3D embossing folder & stencils paired with the Build‑A‑Garden: Scripted in Blooms stamp, stencil, and die set. The moment I saw these florals, they felt straight out of a storybook -  soft, elegant, and just begging for a touch of gold. Heat embossing them in gold added that perfect hint of royalty 👑, and I love how they shine against those dreamy embossed backgrounds!

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold (2) A2 white card bases.
  • Emboss (2) panels of pale pink cardstock with the Enchanted Castle Window 3D embossing folder, one portrait and one landscape.
  • Ink blend each panel with 1-2 of the coordinating stencils in enchanted gold pigment ink.
  • Heat emboss the flowers in antique gold to white cardstock.
  • Ink blend the florals using the coordinating layering stencils, then diecut.

Stencil 1: A1 - Amethyst, Mauve, A2 - Grape Agate, Berrylicious
Stencil 2: Chamomile, Sagestone
Stencil 3: Olive Grove
Stencil 4: B1 - Strawberry, Celestial Mist, B2 - usty Pink, Dreamy Periwinkle
Stencil 5: B3 - Silver Sprout, B4 - Mossy Granite

  • Heat emboss the main sentiments in antique gold to white cardstock.
  • Stamp the secondary sentiment in obsidian to white cardstock.
  • Diecut the florals and sentiments with their coordinating dies, cutting two extra white layers and one layer of gold glitter for the sentiments.
  • Stack & glue together the sentiments, adding the gold glitter layer as an offset shadow.
  • trim the secondary sentiment into a thin strip.
  • Arrange the florals around the embossed panels as shown, trimming away excess then adding them back to each panel.
  • Once arranged, glue into place, and pop some inner layers up with thin foam strips.
  • Mount each panel to a card front with foam tape.
  • Mount the sentiments to each card front with thin foam strips, tucking the banner sentiment as shown.
  • Accent with antique gold sequins to finish.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base, then cover with blush cardstock.
  • Stamp the first part of the sentiment to an A2 white cardstock panel in black ink, then heat emboss the second part in golden peach.
  • Stamp the floral elements to the top and bottom of the panel in coastal fog ink. (Don't remove anything from your stamping platform.)

Stencil 1: A1 - Pastel Sunrise, A2 - Sunlit Sand, A4 - Sunray
Stencil 2: A3 - Terracotta, A5 - Chamomile, A6 - Snapdragon, Pool, A7 - Snapdragon, Mystic Lake
Stencil 3: B1 - Strawberry, B2 - Dusty Pink, B4 - Sunray
Stencil 4: B3 - Blush Rose, B5 - Chamomile, B6 - Snapdragon, Pool
Stencil 5: B7 - Snapdragon, Mystic Lake

  • Ink the stamps with Obsidian, then re-stamp for a crisp, clear impression.
  • Trim the panel slightly smaller, then mount to the card front with foam adhesive.
  • Accent with crystal moonlight sequins to finish.

Altenew February Release Instagram Hop

I'm sharing a softly sparkling thank you card today, featuring the Mini Delight: Apothecary Garden stamp and die set paired with the Love, Preserved 3D Embossing Folder. 🌼🤍 I love how the delicate little blooms nestle into that textured background, creating a sweet, "gathered from the garden" feel with just a hint of shimmer. This stamp and die set may be tiny and affordable, but it’s bursting with design possibilities!

  • Cut Sandy Blush cardstock panel slightly smaller, then emboss with the Love, Preserved 3D embossing folder.
  • Heat emboss the vase to the Sandy Blush panel in antique gold embossing powder.
  • Heat emboss the first part of the sentiment to the panel in white, then finish stamping in obsidian.
  • Mount the entire panel to the card front with foam adhesive.
  • Diecut the Apothecary Garden die pieces, then assemble the flowers.
  • Arrange the stems and florals to the card front as shown.
  • Accent with rose gold sequins to finish.

Altenew February Release Livestream

I created this card live on a Saturday, featuring the new Cascading Flowers stamp set with the coordinating Flower Bed stencils — which compliment the set beautifully, but can also stand on their own to create a full floral panel.

I’m going to be real with you… I don’t go live very often on the weekends, and there’s a reason for that. I was a HOT MESS. Lol! We made it through, I fixed a couple of little mistakes afterward, and now I’ve got this beautiful floral card ready to send to a friend. It all worked out in the end, and it’s such a good reminder that even those of us who do this for a living have rough crafting days.

Easy Step by Step instructions:

  • Cut & fold A2 white card base.
  • Cut 6x6 white cardstock panel, then ink blend with the Flower Bed stencils in the following colors:

Stencil 1: Strawberry, Pale Mauve
Stencil 2: Blush Rose, Amethyst
Stencil 3: Sunray, Pastel Sunrise
Stencil 4: Chamomile, Sunlist Sand
Stencil 5: Snapdragon, Terracotta, Pool
Stencil 6: Snapdragon, Mystic Lake

  • Place the ink blended panel into a Stampwheel, then align the larger flower image to the front.
  • Treat with anti-static powder, then stamp & heat emboss the image in antique gold.
  • Diecut the panel slightly smaller than the card base, then mount to the front with foam tape.
  • DIecut the Ornate Tag from Blush and Moonstone glitter cardstock, then assemble.
  • Heat emboss the secondary sentiment to the tag in white.
  • Stamp the main sentiment directly above in Obsidian.
  • Mount the tag to the lower right side of the card with foam tape.
  • Accent with crystal moonlight sequins to finish.
