Hi! I’m Lea. Wife to Josh and mom to two precious babies in Heaven, Ellie and Layton. We said goodbye to our 19‑year‑old cocker spaniel, Sadie, in late 2024 and find ourselves dogless for the first time in over 20 years. It’s bittersweet, and I’m giving myself the space to grieve both Sadie and our yorkie, Bailey, before welcoming another furry friend into our lives.
My faith is deeply rooted — not because my life has been filled with cupcakes and rainbows, but quite the opposite. Living day‑to‑day without our two babies, who we prayed for, longed for, and wanted to keep so badly, is a constant reminder of their absence. There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t long for them and grieve.
There are three things you should know about me — I love coffee, cards, and dancing…the order changes by the hour. I was born and raised in Montana, and my husband and I were lucky enough to return to the state where we first met. We’re now building our forever home on our own little piece of it!
I stepped into the paper crafting world in 1998, when my aunt gifted me a scrapbooking kit for graduation. I documented every moment that summer and beyond, and I’ve been creating ever since. I shifted to cardmaking exclusively in 2009 while completing an intensive photography curriculum. After more than seven years as a marketing director, I stepped into full‑time freelance creative and educational work in 2025.
Outside of my creative career, I love staying active through dancing, paddleboarding in the summer, and working on my hiking endurance in both length and elevation. I enjoy reading, spending time with my husband, family, and friends, and savoring a fancy cocktail every now and then.
My life is incredibly creative, and I work extremely hard to have a career in the industry I love so much. Thank you so much for being part of my little creative corner in this amazing paper crafting world!
